Vycoz is a eye-wear brand created by the etymology of “by Korea” launched in 2014 by an optometrist Mr.Jeong. The design begins with customer wonder “light, comfortable, simple”

What makes VYCOZ™ so special is the combination of materials. Every component of the eye-wear is made of the finest materials. Front part constitutes seamless combination of ‘SWISS BIO EMPLA’ material, natural dye from Germany and durability without any coating treatment, which is realized by the latest molding technology.
Temple part is made of ‘GERMAN STAINLESS’ material, Temple tip part is made of ‘JAPAN RUBBER’ to express unchanging ivory color for the inner side, and black color for the outer. Nose pad is made of ‘German Silicone’. All these elements are designed to maximize aesthetic stability and neat image of the wearers even at the first encounter. The reason we’ve adapted the best-class materials originates from our philosophy: Nose pad and temple tip are what completes the eyewear. |
Patent
Putting aside materials of the highest quality, VYCOZ™ is also famous for the patent of screw-less hinge design: ‘Sphere Hub System’ ‘Movement & motion’ ‘metal clip rimrock’ ‘dot fixing system’. The eye-wear without screws have many advantages in terms of design. Screws generally require welding hinges, which weigh 1-2 g per each, then will eventually increase weight of a frame by 4-8 g. To manufacture the ultra-light and well-balanced eye-wear, VYCOZ™ has taken harder ways than using screw assembly method.
